You just turned 16 and you are feeling very good about yourself. You just got your drivers license and with the help of your parents you just purchased your first car and you are able to go places and do things on your own that you were never able to do as a 15 year old. You have the freedom to drive yourself to parties, school dances, high school football games and to drive your date to the movies or to the beach. The thing is now that you have the added responsibilities of car payments among other things, you also need to start making more money than you did last year. This is why you actually need to find a higher paying job. And this article we will guide you towards the best part time jobs for 16 year olds so that you can start paying off your car and have a little extra money in your pocket. These are very tough financial times but if you look hard enough there are still some very good paying jobs out there.

For a 16 year old one of the best part time jobs out there is to be a waiter or waitress. Waitering jobs are some of the highest paying jobs that you can get as a teenager and this is not because of the hourly wage which is usually between $9 and $13 an hour. It is because of the tips that you can make over there. Good waitresses or waiters can usually bring home between $100 and $200 in tips if they are good at what they do. When people come into a restaurant to eat they are looking for a good meal but they are usually looking for someone that they can conversate with and someone that can make them feel a little better than they did when they first entered the restaurant. So in essence, your job is not only to provide excellent food service to these customers but you are also kind of being a psychologist as you are catering to what makes them feel good about themselves. A good waiter or waitress can make a name for themselves really fast among the restaurants customers, and if you are well liked they will usually request to sit at the table that you are waitering on. It is a fast paced atmosphere so you really need to have a lot of energy to be able to do this.

If a waitering job is a little bit too high paced for you then I would suggest applying for a job at your local library as a librarian. Librarians usually make between $8 and $12 dollars per hour but they are our a lot of off hours which will give you a lot of time to not only read your favorite books but to also do your homework and finish it up so that when you get home you will be able to have fun and hang out with friends. If your day is way too hectic for you been working at your local library is just the remedy for your peace of mind. By the time you have stopped working at your favorite library you will have become knowledgeable in many different subjects as you will have lots of time to read many books.

Visit http://www.teenjobsection.com/jobs-for-16-year-olds.php today to find the best resources online for Jobs For 16 Year Olds.
it seems almost all the online from home jobs are scams or just stupid take advantage of the current system type things. I would like to find a legitamate, fulfilling employment opportunity that I can make a decent living while working my own hours and managing my own time and life

Starting your own online business is a great idea. You would be the boss and call your own shots. But on the other hand its not as easy as people think. The "scams" you speak of aren't actually always scams. People don't take the time to read packages or kits assigned to them and that is why these scams are called scams. You can make decent money online but the time you need to put into it is usually underestimated. Check this website out on various ways you could profit, I mean it works im making upwards of $100 a week extra doing it. You could probably make more if you put more time into, I dont cause Im always business but i see the potential

5 Tips When Searching For A Job Online

Author: John Morris

Online job searches had absolutely revolutionized the usual process of job application and hiring employees. The accessibility of using computer software to create printable and ultra handy resumes that can instantly be downloaded as an email attachment has made the process more convenient to pursue.

With online job searches, job applicants or jobseekers do not have to undergo the tedious job of printing and dispatching numerous resumes to several companies through the dreaded snail mail.

The problem with most jobseekers is that they tend to overlook job searches online. Most people say that online job searches are full of fraudulent activities and scams. Hence, these people fail to notice their benefits.

Even if the Internet is a known reproduction area for scammers and unscrupulous individuals, it is not right to assume that jobs posted in the Internet are not worth the jobseekers time and effort. In reality, it really pays to seek and search online jobs because this will facilitate the possibility of getting hired as soon as possible.

But then again, with the countless cases of frauds such as phishing, email scams, and identity theft, it is still hard to trust every job searches you make online. Whats more, many people are worried about the growing number of job offers sent through mail. Most of them may seem too justifiable and genuine to have doubts, but then, you will never know what they are up to.

That is why, it is very important to learn the right techniques and apply them when searching for a job online. These things may not offer you first- hand protection but they can definitely guide you in looking for the best work you can get online.

Here is how –

1. Optimize your searches

Todays information technology is all about keywords and key phrases. Every bit of information is easily accessed online using keywords.

These keywords refer to words that people use whenever they use search engines. These keywords are the ones embedded within the article or the advertisement. Keywords help search engine spiders locate them faster and more accurate.

So if you want to search for a specific type of job, it is best to narrow down your search in a more specific terminology.

For instance, searching for managerial jobs may consume time and effort without reaching your specific targets. Of course, if you will try to narrow your search to a more detailed and explicit keyword such as account manager or warehouse manager, your chosen search engine will be able to generate more functional leads.

2. Seek online forums and online newspapers

If you are fond of looking for jobs through the classified sections of your favorite newspaper, it is still important that you try to find work through the news, magazines, and online newspapers. Make the most of job listings and online job fairs. Participate in online forums where the topic is all about job searches.

The point here is that the more you can maximize online job searching activities, the more chances you have in landing a job. Focusing on one online job listing or job banks will only condense your online job searches.

3. Be wary of instant email job invitations

Have you ever realized that even emails that contain job invitations are also prone to frauds and scams? If you have not yet, then it means you have been a victim of spasm and frauds.

These kinds of spam do not offer jobs in the first place. They just use such propaganda to lure people to submit personal information such as name, address, or even social security numbers. When this happens, frauds or identity theft may take place.

So the next time you receive a cold- contact email from a stranger, it would be better to confirm and verify its authenticity by visiting its website. Conduct a thorough investigation of the matter. Verify the contact information of the company.

Best of all, never click on the provided link in the email. Spammers use special codes embedded in the link that will generate adequate information about your IP address or anything that will generate your personal information. These things will only be used in unscrupulous intentions.

4. Go for quality

Just because it is so easy to search online jobs means you can drop off your resumes to almost all websites listed in the job listing. Keep in mind that it is still better to send a few resumes on sites that require specific skills that precisely match your abilities than to hoard every job you see online.

5. Keep track of the sites you have visited and submitted your resumes

You will never know when the employer might contact you. Hence, it is unethical to keep on guessing the exact position that you have applied in a particular company.

The Internet can absolutely help you in finding the job you have long been dreaming of as long as you know how to maximize its potential. Just try to take note of these practical tips when searching for online jobs and you will surely end up with your dream job.

So Im applying for a job at this supermarket which is always looking for people and everybody gets jobs there. Two of my friends in the last 2 weeks got jobs. And theyre getting pretty desperate because theyre looking for temporary workers if theres a strike. I applied online and last time they called me (i got talked out of going to the interview.) without me calling them. I dont know if i should call them this time. My friend always said i should call but i worry about coming across as pushy. And should I Iapply at the temp workers job fair too? IOr should I just stay wiith my online app? And should I call?

Well in my opinion you should probably go and do an interview. A lot of employers that sit face to face with possible employees like to see the attitude of the person. Sometimes pushy is a good thing showing that things will get done when you are put on a task

What can you gain from absolutely free work at home job listings?

Author: Scott Whaley

Most people are on the lookout for absolutely free work at home job listings. Free is not enough for them. It has to be absolutely free. They’re probably thinking that it’s the answer to their search for success. While a lot of people has gained some sort of success from it, more people has found out that it’s not the answer to their prayers. But this article is not written to turn you off from checking it out. Although there is a lot of work at home ripoffs in free listings, there are still legitimate opportunities and you can still pay the bills with it. But in order to gain a respectable amount of success from it, you have to know what it offers. This will give you the chance to set your expectations so you can plan around it. Because these are absolutely free work at home job listings, there’s no harm in checking it out to see what you can get from it. Here’s what you’re going to get:

It’s free to check out

You don’t have to pay for membership in order to check out the work at home job listings. This remains to be the biggest advantage of these listings. But because it’s free, you can’t expect a lot of features that can help you choose the best one.

Free work at home opportunities

You can also check out a lot of work at home opportunities that wouldn’t require you to send in a payment for membership or a starter’s kit. However, this is where work at home ripoffs are aplenty. Because those are free opportunities, payment is not guaranteed and you might end up working for free.

Home business opportunities

Aside from work at home jobs, you can also see listings for home business opportunities. Absolutely free work at home job listings is not reserved for just work at home jobs. You can also see a lot of opportunities to put up your own business at home. But you have to be careful, because these are free listings, some companies would take advantage of it and sell you work at home ripoffs.

These listings can give you basic information. But nothing beats proper research about opportunities to check out the legitimacy of a program. While it's true that you sometimes have to pay for checking out the program, there are opportunities that you can check out for free. A great example can be found on SixFiguresPro.com to see a home business opportunity that is legitimate and will give you all the information that free listings couldn't give.

You see them advertised everywhere the moment you log onto the Internet. A simple search on the subject will return thousands of hits. Your local news may have stories on them from time to time. It is a subject that many people have been talking about and looking into for many years. What is it that everyone is talking about?

What brings out so much interest regardless of the time period? Work from home jobs are something that everyone is interested in and everyone talks about but do people really find success in them?

Yes, there are many things you can find that are legitimate work from home jobs. The problem is distinguishing the difference between the real jobs from the not so real jobs. Unfortunately many people take advantage of hard work individuals who are looking for a chance to make some additional money.

The good news is there are many legitimate places that are willing to hire many people and the advent of the Internet has allowed the opportunities to transcend what would normally be geographical boundaries. You no longer have to work for someone that is close enough to deliver the work to. You can work for someone that is in another country and the delivery of your work is as close as pushing a button on your computer.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to finding legitimate work from home jobs. The Internet is a great place to start your search. A few days of serious searching will get you familiar with the different opportunities available and the ones to stay away from.

Many people have found it as easy as doing a job they would normally consider a hobby. Many people find they love to fix cars even though they are working desk jobs all week long. Others find they love to do wood working.

The nice thing is that you can find a job that you like to do and get paid to do it during what would be your off hours it does not really feel like a job.

I would like to find a work from home job where my wife and be at home doing something and get paid doing it. I've looked all over the internet and found nothing. There are alot of them, but you have to buy a program or sell things. We do not want that. Does anyone know of any ledgit work from home jobs?

Having been in your situation a little while back I looked into a LOT of programs, some of which were scams (a good many), some of which paid but not enough to make it worth your time, and a very few that actually worked.

Be wary of programs that want you to pay a large start-up fee. Read thoroughly their terms of service and make sure they are going to be offering you a service worth that fee.

In resources I will list a few of the companies that I've found to actually pay worth the time I put into them. Keep in mind that not every program will work for you and be selective. Track the results you get from each program.

Employment opportunities for people who work from home have never been greater. Unfortunately, the number of scams trying to take innocent people's money has never been greater, either.

Most people believe they will never be a victim of a scam, thinking they would never be gullible enough to fall for such a thing. However, the scam artists are getting better at presenting themselves as legitimate business owners and people continue to lose money to these criminals. They're putting up slick, professional-looking websites that are geared to fooling even the most skeptical.

Unfortunately, in bad economic times, it's the people who can least afford to lose money to these scam artists who fall victim to them. Many scam artists are content with scamming small amounts of money from people. But even small amounts add up to millions of dollars being taken from unsuspecting victims who may not even report to authorities because the amounts are so small or because they are embarrassed.

Consumer reports recently tested some so-called business opportunities and found that while people can make money, usually it's far less than minimal wage. Before investing in any online business, check out that company with the Better Business Bureau or research legitimate sources for information.

One of the problems with trying to find good information is that many sources call business scams without doing any real research. For example, multi level marketing programs are considered by the mainstream media to be a bad investment, when in fact, they can make money when done properly. For every scam, there are legitimate jobs. For example, data entry schemes are notorious for taking peoples money, but there are legitimate work-at-home data entry positions available. They are hard to find and pay is not terrific, but they do exist.

The bottom line is to listen to your head, not your heart. Don't get overly excited about claims of making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. You have as much chance of doing that as winning the lottery. Most legitimate business and home-based jobs offer average to below-average wages, though certainly some do have the potential for higher earnings.

One of the biggest red flags to look for? If a company requires you to pay for "information" or a "start-up" kit, it may be a scam. Paying for lists of "opportunities" or clients is another red flag. Many times the secret information a site is offering for a fee can be found for free with a little diligence.

Don't feel too bad if you've been tempted by some of these scams. The offers made are enticing and sometimes exciting. Take a step back, wait 24 hours before making a decision, do your research, hide your credit card, ask advice before falling victim to these unscrupulous criminals.
