Freelance work from home is indeed a lucrative career option. With the use of internet and
computers,it is now possible to work from the comforts of one's home and earn a good income.
Freelancing can be done either part time or on full time basis. One can hold a regular day
job and still can do freelancing in his spare time to earn some extra money. On the other
hand, one can become self employed and can take freelancing as a full time career.
Sometimes many of us hold one or more part time jobs to earn some extra money. Freelance work from home can be a very good substitute to this. Unlike part time jobs, one does not have to
be physically present at the job site. It also allows oneself to practice his/her profession.
This way, you are able to use what you are already doing in your regular job.
Freelancing also allows a person to have more free time compared to other side jobs or part time jobs. This is because the person does not have to render a specific number of hours -- jobs are generally per project basis.The project has to be completed within a specified time. The freelancer has to plan and budget his time accordingly so that he can complete the project in time.
The most beneficial point of freelancing is that one does not require to be physically present at the job site. The internet and the speedy transfer of data allows a person to work from his home office,at his convenient time. So a person leaving in Asia can do freelance work for a company in the United States.
Though freelancing has many positive points,it has some negative aspects too. The freelancer
has to weigh the pros and cons before starting his/her new career.
